It is a nice size and elegant with fancy bathrooms, good enough for short stay. There is a wide array of outstanding food for breakfast.

The Hotel was new ,clean, the food was good and the staff in the main were very helpful
The Bar was very small with not much room to sit etc,and ran out of draught beer each night! The website led me to believe the Hotel is in Old La Rochelle and it isnt. The breakfast was very average and way too expensive. The Hotel has a beautiful exterior and I expected a traditional interior rather than a modern one.I Would reccomend this as a good airport hotel

Thank you for a relaxing stay. The venue is fantastic and fabulous, its location is magnificent, just next door to city center, garden, and the garden area which is overlooked by the holiday camp. The staff in general is really good.

The Hotel itself is beautiful; the rooms are nice and comfortable and the bathroom is excellent. The wireless internet wouldn't work and I found the reception staff difficult due to the language barrier. I would not give the hotel a 4 star rating, more of a really good 3 star.
Disrupted internet service.

Chateau is a good looking building, well renovated, clean
Doesn't know what it is! 4 star chateau with associated holiday buildings which look 1star; staff good but not enough of them resulting in 2 star service. Chateau looks great from outside, characterless inside. Grounds could be pretty but need some work

Excellent restaurant. Quiet and spacious steam room and reasonable sized indoor pool
Outdoor pool was small and restricted for amount of sunbeds as it was shared with apartments. The view from restaurant was of scrub land - would benefit from landscaping.

Beautiful renovated chateau furnished and decorated to a high designer standard. Nice location on edge of La Rochell with easy access to city centre and air port.
Tried to book dinner in dining room but was told there was a function being held and was fully booked. This was not indicated on our arrival. Having had a reasonable lunch in town, decided to settle for room service. Again told this was not available. Even our request for a sandwich was refused. Not good for a hotel claiming to be 4 star. On this point I would have to mark the hotel down and would not use it again as the service did not live up to the prices being charged.

Location and friendly welcome.
Lacked public rooms particularly in a 4 star chateau hotel. The seats in the dining room were very hard and uncomfortable and like a railway station waiting room. There were no comfortable seats in the rooms or hallways. The shower had sharp points in it and was impossible to control.

We had a great value for money at Hotel Et Spa Du Chateau. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff treated us very well. The location was convenient and easy to find when traveling by car.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a late-night snack menu for those arriving late, like fresh fruits, small salads, cheese plates, or ready-made cold sandwiches.

The Hotel was excellent as far as accomodation is concerned and staff could not have been more helpful. The grounds and setting were quiet and very relaxing which suited us perfectly.
When we arrived we didn't have transport and this is essential for this location is oine wants to go into La Rochelle. Whilst it is in walking distance, probably 30 - 40 minutes, it involves crossing major roads. It would have been helpful if the hotel had a mini bus service as taxis are quite expensive and difficult to organise for return trips.

The chateau was very impressive. The rooms were very well presented and looked new. The breakfast was nice.
The staff were poorly trained, for example they struggled to organise room service, trips to local restaurants or even cut a new room card! Don't even try and ask staff to put two rooms on one bill, since this is way beyond the level of training received! The staff themselves were nice and very friendly though. I blame the management!!
